So the following images you can see all the yes and no foods for the next 30 days. You might say, no way I could ever do that. I hear people say this every time they hear how my bikini prep diets has been. My answer? Of course you can. You can do more than you think and it just requires a bit of willpower. Luckily for you willpower is like a muscle, the more you use it the bigger and more powerful it will get. Remember, I used to drink full fat coke accompanied by some kinder eggs everyday, gym wasn’t on my list and if I was eating healthy or unhealthy didn’t really matter. Diets failed easily and I said no way I could do that, I enjoy food too much. Do you see?
If you want to change your lifestyle for the better you can ABSOLUTELY do it! Just go for it. It will the best thing you’ve ever done. I PROMISE.
Anyhow, this diet is pretty clear that I’m going to lose body fat(elimination of starchy carbs and sugar). Muscle building can be interesting as starchy carbs aren’t allowed but fructose is. Although I believe(but ready to be disproved) you don’t need carbs to build muscles, BUT it does make you look bigger or fuller. Cost wise it will probably be a bit cheaper than a “normal diet – eating lifestyle”, considering alcohol is off the list(although I probably spend max 10 pounds a month on alcohol as I’m not a big drinker note: anymore). Coffee is also eliminated – I can drink from 1-5 cups a day, and do buy coffee pretty much everyday. So this will save me a lot of money!
Anyway, they do recommend to buy organic and/or local foods, which does cost a bit more. But, I think I’m going to do a bit of both(remember I’m a student!). At the end of the diet I will add up the cost of all the foods I bought during the 30 days.
In addition, I’m not going to use any supplements or over the counter medication, such as ibuprofen or paracetamol.
The only thing I will be consuming is what the protocol says.
The bottom line: This diet is designed to rebuild your digestion, increase energy and also boost brain power. It can be said that this diet can be used to reset your body, this is what Kritikos Health mentioned in previous blog post, and be good for people living with autoimmune diseases – to decrease or/and eliminate symptoms.
After the 30 days you will make a customised diet suited to you. You reintroduce most of the food groups you eliminated and see what foods work for you. And after that you will have an eating template for the rest of your life.
